Anna Godiali is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has worked with individuals, couples, families, and LBGTQIA members for 20 years in agency settings and in private practice. Her focus has been working with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, divorce, life transitions, gender dysphoria and transgender challenges, and parenting.
She offers EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy, and uses CBT, narrative, existential, person-centered, strengths-based, and/or solution-focused interventions--depending on the needs of her clients.
In order to understand her clients most accurately, she approaches each client from a life-span developmental (biological, psychological, social and cultural systems) perspective, and she is trained at the post-MA level to assess and treat a broad range of clinical mental health issues. An advocate by nature, her therapy style is warm, casual, and pretty direct in order to create the sense of safety, acceptance, and support her clients need as they find their way through some of the hardest experiences life can bring. Her goal is that her clients not only survive, but thrive as they find strengths they didn’t know they had!
