Alex Cashmer, MS, LPC-IT
Alex is a graduate of Mount Mary University’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling program with a certificate in trauma counseling. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor In Training and working toward full licensure. She works from a Feminist and Person-Centered framework, incorporating somatic-based trauma work and identity exploration within sessions. When working with children, Alex uses child-directed play therapy.
She has experience working with clients of all ages, with a focus on children, adolescents, and young adults. Her areas of expertise include PTSD, trauma, LGBTQIA, anxiety, depression, life transitions, as well as identity exploration and identity formation.
